Tired? Let Me Remind You Why That’s a Blessing

Hey Entrepreneurs (and Employees) 💛

We’re halfway through the year. And if I’m honest, everyone I speak to is saying the same thing:

“I’m tired.”

“I feel like I’m barely keeping up.”

“I’m overwhelmed.”

It’s like our collective energy is running on fumes. But here’s something I’ve been reflecting on, and I hope it brings perspective to your tired heart:

·      Sometimes you’re not tired because something is wrong.

·      Sometimes you’re tired because something is working.

·      You’re tired because you’re finally building the life and business you once prayed for.

Let’s have real talk:

·      You’re tired from chasing payments…

·      From attending pitch meetings…

·      From refining that proposal for the third, fifth, tenth time…

·      From leading your team and holding space for your clients…

But once upon a time, you were praying for these very problems. You were asking God for a seat at the table and now you're sitting there, menu in hand, expected to order, deliver, and serve.

And yes, it’s a lot. Because blessings come with responsibility. Answered prayers come with weight.

Let’s Talk About the Social Media Effect

Social media will have you thinking you’re not doing enough. It will make you feel like the only one who's overwhelmed, behind, or crawling instead of running.

But here’s what you don’t see:

·      You don’t see the credit card debt behind that new car post.

·      You don’t see the marriage strain behind that business partnership.

·      You don’t see the 7 failed businesses behind that one "overnight success."

What you’re building is not for Instagram or TikTok.

It’s for impact. It’s for legacy.

And that takes time, energy, and sleepless nights.

Real business doesn’t scale on reels; it scales on resilience.

Dear Entrepreneurs:

·      If your calendar is full; count it as grace.

·      If you’ve got more client work than you can manage; count it as growth.

·      If you're tired from showing up again and again; hat’s the cost of consistency.

We say we want to build 6- and 7-figure businesses. But then we forget that it takes a 6- and 7-figure mindset to get there. One that knows when to push, when to pause, and when to praise, even in fatigue. So don’t let tiredness trick you into giving up. Let it remind you that you’re in the arena and not watching from the sidelines.

🙏🏾 As You Step into July, this is your halftime check-in. The next six months can still be your most purposeful, profitable, and aligned season yet, but only if you don’t despise the season you’re in now. So rest if you must. But don’t quit. Don’t scroll yourself into anxiety. Don’t wish away the blessing that looks like hard work. Take care of your mind, body and dreams.

With grace, grit, and a hot cup of coffee,
